Independent Contractor Agreement

The relationship
- You're engaged as an independent contractor — not an employee, agent or partner of CleanOn.
- You control how each job is performed, provided the outcome meets the agreed Service Scope.
- You may work for other cleaning businesses or clients, subject to the non-solicitation terms.
- You provide your own tools, equipment and cleaning materials unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Fees and payment
- You receive 60% of the job fee (inclusive of GST and super) for each job completed to the Service Scope.
- CleanOn retains 40% as its service and administration fee, and collects all fees from clients directly.
- CleanOn provides a payment statement within 3 business days of client payment; you invoice within 7 days; CleanOn pays within 14 days of a valid tax invoice.
Job assignment
- Jobs are assigned based on your registered service area (suburb + radius), availability, and the services you're approved for.
- Each job comes with a Service Scope: client address, scope of work, scheduled time and access instructions.
Your obligations
- Hold and maintain a valid ABN throughout the term.
- Perform each job with due care and skill, and attend at the scheduled time (or give notice).
- Comply with WHS laws, use appropriate PPE, and handle chemicals safely.
- Protect client privacy and CleanOn's confidential information.
- Notify CleanOn within 24 hours of any incident, damage or complaint.
Insurance
- Public Liability: $10,000,000 per occurrence (required).
- Workers Compensation: as required by law if you engage employees or subcontractors.
- Professional Indemnity: $1,000,000 (optional but strongly recommended).
Term and termination
- Either party may terminate on 14 days' written notice.
- CleanOn may suspend or immediately terminate for safety, dishonesty, or serious breach.
- For 12 months after ending, you won't directly solicit clients you served through CleanOn.
